Appointment Notice Gray Line West is pleased to announce the following appointment Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (August 2, 2005) – Mr. Paul Tilbury as Managing Director As Managing Director of Gray Line West, Mr. Tilbury is responsible for all operations in the three locations of Banff, Alberta and Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, including over 400 employees and approximately 130 pieces of equipment. Mr. Tilbury brings to his new role over twenty years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. The majority of this has been in overseeing multiple chains of restaurants in both Canada and the United States. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Guest Services with Rocky Mountaineer Vacations. Educated in Huddersfield, England, he received a Higher National Diploma in Business Marketing from Huddersfield University. Mr. Tilbury is also the Immediate Past Chair of Tourism Vancouver. Gray Line West (GLW) offers both sightseeing and charter motorcoach operations in Banff, Alberta and Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia. Armstrong Hospitality Group Ltd. (AHG) announced the acquisition of the Gray Line franchises on May 19, 2005, after which the three units began operating jointly as Gray Line West (GLW) with corporate offices in Vancouver. The AHG family of companies also includes Rocky Mountaineer Vacations (operators of the acclaimed Rocky Mountaineer train) The North Coast Explorer train, Two River Junction Dinner and Musical Revue and the Thompson Hotel in Kamloops, B.C. In 2006, RMV will add a third Rocky Mountaineer route between Vancouver and Jasper - the Fraser Discovery Route - and introduce the Whistler Mountaineer train, a three-hour experience between North Vancouver and Whistler, BC.
