U.S. Visitors to Vancouver get a free ride on a double decker bus this 4th of July with Gray Line West
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada (July 3, 2006) - Gray Line West is proud to announce that for one day only on July 4th in honour of U.S. Independence Day, the company is offering free admission for its "hop-on hop-off" Double Decker Attractions Loop Tour to all American visitors to Vancouver. With 20 stops at Vancouver’s top attractions, this popular tour is a quick and convenient way to see the city and appreciate the stunning views along the way. The special offer includes a one-day ticket onboard Gray Line West’s authentic British Double Decker buses with hop-on hop-off accessibility throughout the city as well as a False Creek Ferries sightseeing trip.
“With the decline in market share that Vancouver has experienced from our largest international market, we wanted to find a way to acknowledge the significant impact that U.S. tourism has in the city through a unique Independence Day special offer,” says Paul Tilbury, Managing Director, Gray Line West. “We are committed to finding new ways to make Vancouver an attractive destination for our U.S. neighbours."
With frequent pick-ups and drop-offs at attractions and sites such as Storyeum, the Vancouver Aquarium, Robson Street, Stanley Park, Canada Place, Granville Island, Yaletown, Chinatown and Gastown, visitors have the opportunity to see the city’s highlights all in one day. To hop onboard, guests can visit any of Gray Line West’s hotel locations or Canada Place to obtain their free ticket. Proof of U.S. residency is required.
