Gray Line West purchases five state-of-the-art Setra Motorcoaches for the 2006 season.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada (February 22, 2006) - Gray Line West is proud to announce it has added five new state-of-the-art Setra S 417 motorcoaches to its fleet. All are equipped with the unique TopSky® feature, a glass roof that runs the length of the aisle and enables guests to see everything from clear blue skies to majestic mountains. This recent acquisition marks the first Setra S 417 TopSky® motorcoaches to have been ordered in North America. Two of the vehicles will be highlighted on Gray Line West’s 2006 sightseeing tours between Vancouver and Whistler, B.C. and will operate in conjunction with the new Whistler Mountaineer train.

“This new venture represents a tremendous investment in our desire to provide a spectacular guest experience,” says Paul Tilbury, Managing Director for Gray Line West. “The unique glass roofed motorcoaches will give our company a competitive edge and further emphasizes Gray Line West’s commitment to being a market leader for sightseeing and charter operations in Western Canada.”

Introduced to the North American market in 2003, the S 417 is setting the benchmark in luxury motorcoaches by providing comfort and innovation to both guest and driver alike. In addition to the innovative TopSky® feature, the five Setra S 417 coaches ordered by Gray Line West also include 56 ultra-luxurious seats, which are equipped with footrests, aisle armrests, and centre armrests. The ultra-modern, spacious S 417 interior cabin design is complemented with coordinating micro-fiber seating and sidewall fabrics. Guests are provided a state-of-the-art audio system, which includes a DVD player and five, 15-inch monitors positioned throughout the cabin. The coach is also equipped with a front mounted camera which displays the scenic view of the road to each monitor.

“We are pleased to partner with Gray Line West, a company that focuses on quality customer service and attention to detail,” says Chief Commercial Officer, Patrick Scully for DaimlerChrysler Commercial Buses North America. “The unique styling of the S 417 will complement the objectives of Gray Line West, and we look forward to continuing to support this top notch company.”
